It never ceases to amaze me that you can spend hours and hours cleaning, re-organizing, de-cluttering, only to come back and find that any open space has been appropriated for random stuff landing spots in a matter of hours and of course no one takes responsibility for any of it. "How did that stereo system complete with sub woofer get to be on the breakfast bar that I cleaned off not even half an hour ago???" "No idea." Bought a $42 printer and he goes in to a screaming rage over it. Apparently a house can't contain more than one printer, especially one that's actually functional. And I haven't asked him to get ink about a million times or anything. So miserable.

I'm going to start an experiment. C has a pile of clean clothes on the floor that he never bothers to put away, and picks his daily "outfit" from said pile. He also has a dresser FULL of clothes. I'm going to start taking one shirt out of his dresser and toss it in the 'donate' pile, and putting a shirt from the floor in its place. Let's see how long it takes him to notice. Maybe I'll even take pictures.
